Lapland as a region spreads across northern parts of Finland, Sweden, Norway and Russia. The bulk however, is located in Finland, and is where all Visit Santa Holidays will take place.
Which airport will we be flying to?
Finland has a number of airports near Lapland, namely Rovaniemi and Kittila. Your destination airport will be decided in accordance with which package you opt for – please see individual trip itineraries for details of where you will be flying to. If the airport is not specified in the itinerary it will then be confirmed at time of booking.
How long will it take to get to our destination?
Flight time from Ireland to Finland is approximately 3.5 hours. Transfer time to your resort aprox 20 – 30 mins depending on the airport you land in. Your airport pick up will be by bus.
Leaving Ireland
All of our Lapland Holidays have departure dates from Dublin Airport, while a select number can also be arranged from Cork or Shannon for our 1 night trips.
